The Crucial Role of Attendance 

Attendance is vital in a child’s developmental process and a powerful predictor of participant outcome. Consistency allows the child to receive uninterrupted high-quality learning experiences, build their socio-emotional skills, and increase their likelihood of benefiting from the program. Missing a day or two may not seem like much, but many families do not realize how quickly a few days can turn into chronic absenteeism. It’s not only about the individual education of each child but also about fostering a sense of community that ignites a supportive environment where all participants feel valued and included. 

Beyond the walls of a classroom, attendance also allows staff to connect with parents and maintain strong communication between the families and educators. Parents are key players in their child’s development.
